Jakub Wołos is a founding Partner at Wołos & Hempowicz Law Firm. He advises entrepreneurs on day-to-day matters related to their business, in particular on corporate aspects, mergers and acquisition transactions and corporate restructuring.

Over the years, he has specialized in commercial law, company and contract law, as well as in mergers and acquisitions. Providing comprehensive services to business entities, in particular to real estate developers and energy companies, he has gained an extensive knowledge and experience in energy law, including renewable energy and real estate trading.

In his practice he has been dealing with drawing up legal opinions for the Clients as well as contracts concerning various aspects of their business. He prepared draft articles of association and statutes from scratch as well as draft resolutions for the company governing bodies. Jakub Wołos also represents shareholders at general meetings and advises how to protect the interests of both the company and its partners, including representation in corporate disputes between the partners as well as between the partners and the company.

Jakub Wołos gained his professional experience in renowned law firms in Poznań, participating in the implementation of complex restructuring projects, including mergers, divisions and transformations of commercial companies. He took part in multidimensional legal investigation of companies (due diligence) and in very complex multi-million M&A transactions. He participated in drafting and negotiating multifaceted agreements between partners and shareholders to determine the mutual rights and obligations of the parties and develop the “exit” strategy from the company in order to guarantee uninterrupted operation of business despite personal changes.

Jakub Wołos graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He was awarded the Master of Laws in 2002.
